Every successful winery has an interesting story, but Viu Manent tops all of them. In 1935, Miguel Viu García together with his two sons founded Bodegas Viu, purchased all kinds of wines from other suppliers, and sold it at the local market under their own brand. After 30 years, Miguel Viu Manent decided to expand their business and produce his own wine. He purchased Hacienda San Carlos de Cunaco in the Colchagua region and the estate still remains in the hands of the family after all these years.
