Attached to the private residence of the Prince of Wales, the Highgrove Gardens is the brainchild of Prince Charles who transformed the large lawns and grasslands around the residence into a popular tourist destination that funds the Prince of Wales’s Charitable Foundation.
From the meticulously laid out neatness of a Cottage Garden to the wild floral canvas of a Wildflower Meadow, the Highgrove Gardens capture the essence of English gardening and the countryside.
Tours and Shop
The royal gardens hold special events all year long, such as workshops about beekeeping, wildlife and black tie events. There are garden tours including a supper tour for visitors to enjoy the beautiful views at Highgrove. To round off the tour experience, you can stop by at their Orchard Restaurant for a meal on the Terrace overlooking the gardens. The Estate Shop stocks a wide range of products from books to foods.
Please note: Entry to Highgrove Gardens is not permitted unless you have a pre-booked ticket.
