Rio Maravilha

If, for whatever reason, you’re on the hunt for the ‘Most Hipster Restaurant in Lisbon’ then cease your search and look no further. Rio Maravilha wins hands down. This quirky restaurant (which is more of a gastro pub) sits inside an old warehouse and boasts excellent views of the city on all sides.

What to Expect

Rio Maravilha isn’t the place you’d go for a quite formal dinner, nor is it a place for children after dark, but it does offer an eclectic atmosphere perfect for young couples, groups of friends or the solo traveller looking to have a great evening out.

Food, Drink and the Decor

The décor here has adopted a couple of themes including tropical, industrial and hipster. Industrial lamps hang from the ceiling, brightly coloured chairs line tables patterned with mosaics and table football tables dot the remaining levels. The restaurant serves traditional Portuguese and Brazilian dishes while the rooftop bar boasts a nice selection of independent beers and cocktails to boot.
