Parque de la Esculturas

Parque de la Esculturas is a refreshing, outdoor museum along the Mapocho River that boasts unusual works of art and sculptures.

Beautifying with Art

It was opened in the year of 1982, with the purpose of beautifying the city after it was destroyed by one of the biggest floods in Santiago. Many prominent artists were invited to give artistic expression to the place. The first sculpture in the park was “Pachamama”, and currently the park has about 40 permanent sculptures. All these sculptures are created by different international and Chilean artists.
