Old Bank Hotel

One time offices of the Midland Bank and dating in part back to the 14th century, this independently owned, Georgian fronted hotel is situated on the High Street opposite All Souls’ College: an ideal central location for exploring the historic heart of Oxford.

The Hotel’s interior retains many of its earlier features, including wood panelled walls, Georgian alcoves and large sash windows which contrast well with the modern paintings on display.

The popular Quod Brasserie is situated in what was once the main banking hall. The patio garden is a delight, offering a real sense of time and place in Oxford for the visitor. Walking tours are offered gratis daily as are splendidly brown and cream liveried bicycles.
