Navy Pier

If you’re looking for Chicago’s family-friendly, adventure packed and entertainment filled district then look no further than Navy Pier. Located on the shores of Lake Michigan this 3,300-foot-long pier is home to green parks, flora-filled gardens, delicious restaurants and many attractions. It’s considered the cities number one tourist attraction and for good reasons.

Things to do

Hop aboard the giant Ferris Wheel and get an alternative view out over Lake Michigan, play a round of golf on the 18-hole mini golf course or head to the Children’s Museum for a hands-on morning digging for dinosaur bones and riding fire trucks. If you’re looking for adult entertainment why not visit the Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, catch a movie at the IMAX cinema or take a romantic stroll through Crystal Gardens; the cities indoor botanical gardens.
