Collections and Exhibitions
The museum has been exhibiting permanent and temporary art collections since 1967. Inside you’ll find thousands of Post-World War II visual art pieces, over 2,500 individual pieces that span back to 1920 and an array of 1980’s postmodernist art. Exhibition topics tend to touch on media and movement and people in society.
The museum has housed works from some of the finest artists from around the world including Takashi Murakami, Jeff Koons, Andy Warhol, Jasper Johns and Alexander Calder. Make sure you check their website to see which artist exhibitions are on show when you’re in town.
