Maremagnum is a shopping and leisure centre located right next to Barcelona Aquarium at the end of Port Vell Marina. The building is rather hard to miss as it’s made of giant reflective glass which shimmers in the sunlight and reflects the blue tones of the adjacent ocean. If you’re hoping to spend an afternoon shopping for designer bargains, this is the place to be.

What’s Inside

Inside you’ll find over 100 shops selling jewellery, clothing cosmetics and electronics including high street brands (H&M, Mango, Pull and Bear) and designer logos to suit all budgets. The centre also houses an eight-screen cinema showcasing Spanish movies and a food court with both restaurants and cafes. After you’ve finished shopping, join the throngs of tourists outside, basking in the sunshine by the beach, shopping backs stuffed under their seat as they soak up the Mediterranean afternoon sun.

Getting Here

This family-friendly shopping centre is easy to access and is just a five-minute walk from Parc de la Ciutadella. If you’re arriving by tube, the nearest metro stops are Barceloneta and Drassanes while the closest bus stop is Maremagnum. The shopping centre is actually open on Sunday’s too, which is unheard of in the city!
