The interior of Le Clan des Jules is furnished with light wood tables and chairs that are complemented by open brick work and ruby red leather bench seats and some interesting memorabilia that includes old photographs, an old typewriter and bookshelves filled with old books. The theme is gangster land and the restaurant is a ‘speakeasy’ dining spot with good soul and jazz music not too loudly in the background!
The menu is not extensive but features a number of European favourites including burgers that are regularly given the ‘thumbs up’ by diners. There is a chalk board listing the daily specials. Service is good and the dishes are well presented and generously sized. Drinks include cocktails and a good selection of wines – either bought by the glass, pichet or bottle. Le Clan des Jules also regularly hosts special family or small corporate celebrations.
