Kuala Lumpur

Langkawi is a literal tropical paradise where pristine white sands meet azure blue waters and palms dot the shoreline. It’s picture perfect and simply irresistible.

Jewel of Kedah

The stunning beauty of Langkawi is represented in its official Malay name – Langkawi Permata Kedah, the Jewel of Kedah. And it truly is. This island paradise, designated a World Geopark by UNESCO, is an archipelago of 140 islands with Langkawi Island making up its largest and administrative centre.

Beaches and more

While Langkawi is known predominantly for its sunny beaches, cruises and boat rides, there are many other attractions for visitors. The Eagle Square overlooking the star-shaped Kuah Jetty boasts a 12-metre tall statue of an eagle with outstretched wings.

A must-visit is the Lankawi Cable Car that transports you over picturesque vistas from the charming Oriental Village up to the top of Gunung Mat Chinchang. From here you can stroll on to the Langkawi Sky Bridge that stretches across a lush and thriving forest canopy.
