Greek Theatre

Used for live shows, stage shows and concerts the Greek Theatre is an outdoor stage, designed after a Greek temple, that has a seating capacity of 5,870. The theatre, first opened in 1931, has fantastic acoustics thanks to its canyon location in Griffith Park and the surrounding scenery just adds to the fantastic experience of visiting here.

Shows run daily at the theatre and change regularly, so it’s best to plan in advance by visiting the Greek Theatre website. Tickets should also be bought online in advance to avoid disappointment. Special events also run here throughout the year including outdoor film screenings under the stars.

Make sure you arrive at the theatre early to explore the food concession stands and grab a bite to eat. For a quick bite why not order a beef hot dog or snack on truffle fries and head to the Plaza Bar for cold beverages. For a more formal dining experience, head to the Mercedes- Benz star lounge which offers VIP service to those with VIP tickets, here you can dine on delicious latin cuisine and premium cocktails.
