Giant is a hip and popular Chicago restaurant that was rated by Bon Appetit magazine as the ‘Sixth best restaurant in the U.S’. The chefs here serve simple yet creative small plates of delicious New American cuisine with a Spanish tapas style twist.

What to Order

The menu is fairly short and sweet and is supposed to be treated as a tapas style menus, made up of lots of little dishes. It’s recommended to order six dishes between two people to begin with and, after that, if you’re still hungry, just place another order! Expect to dine on wild concoctions including crab salad with waffle fries, scallops with soba noodles, pork loin with capers, eggplant and cashews and jalapeno and bacon.

Inside the restaurant, you’ll notice a faint colour scheme of black, white and brown with a dash of yellow. It’s hip, and it’s popular. Make sure you book well in advance as seating is limited. The atmosphere is quite cosy too as the tables are fairly close to each other and form one long line of guests.
