The Dead Sea of Jordan has been a destination for travellers seeking therapy and relaxation, long throughout the ages. Visitors can now follow in the legendary rituals of Cleopatra, the Queen of Sheba and Artistotle alike, by floating in the Dead Sea waters, without leaving the city.
The Saray Spa Floatation Pool
The ‘Saray Signature Dead Sea Journey’ involves floating in the first floatation pool in the Emirates. The pool contains Dead-Sea-imported salts and minerals (including magnesium, calcium, potassium and bromides), that work together to recreate the weightlessness and long thought-of natural therapeutic, healing and anti-ageing properties and benefits to skin, muscles and joints. Visitors are treated to a relaxing session in their private floatation pool, followed by a Dead Sea salt scrub, full Rose oil body massage and a Dead Sea mud body mask.
The Saray Spa also offers 15 various other wonderful treatment rooms for both male and female visitors, from jacuzzis, and ‘hammams’, to steam rooms, saunas and other hydro-facilities.
