Charming Farm Life

Cogges Manor Farm, formerly a ‘living museum’ of agricultural and dairy farming, is a unique heritage site with historic buildings, a walled garden, a moat and an orchard. It is currently a enjoyable destination where visitors can enjoy a hands-on experience in the various tasks and chores that make up farm life.

The Farm is home to all kinds of animals such as Pygmy goats, Black and Sandy pigs, miniature Shetland ponies, Indian Runner ducks, chickens, and rabbits. The Farm Shop sells fresh produce like cheese, eggs, vegetables besides handmade gifts and crafts.

Activities and Learning Programmes

Families can enjoy the various activities designed to acquaint visitors with farming such as den making, adventure play with historical costumes and nature play are available in Cogges Manor Farm. Other events such as Scything Workshop, Bike Maintenance Course, Apple Day and Christmas Market are also held annually. They offer learning programmes that focus on the nature of Cogges and related other aspects of farm life.
