California Science Centre

The California Science Centre is the largest interactive science centre on the west coast and is home to over 100 permanent exhibits that span across several galleries. The museum and centre is located in Exposition Park, neighbour to the National History Museum

Permanent exhibits here include the Ecosystem Exhibit where visitors can learn about animal habitats and the earth’s ecosystem, the Creative World Exhibit which explores the history of transportation, the World of Life Exhibit which is a scientific look at creation and the Air and Space Exhibit which houses spacecraft artefacts. All exhibits offer a hands-on experience and interactive learning space that’s fun and educative for the whole family.

Visitors are advised to pre-order museum passes online and pre-reserve a slot to view the famous Space Shuttle Endeavour, the retired orbiter from NASA’s shuttle programme. Admission to all permanent exhibits listed above is free while special exhibit costs are roughly $19.5 and IMAX admission costs are $8.95.
