Café Droog

Part café and part concept store, Café Droog offers a feast for both the body and the mind.

An Unusual Hybrid

Is it a café? Or is it a store? Café Droog is both of these things. Created by a Dutch design collective of the same name, this ultra-hip, conceptual space simultaneously offers fresh, creative food and fresh, creative home decor.

Concept Café, Concept Shop

Visitors to Café Droog can eat breakfast, lunch, or dinner while taking advantage of the free wi-fi. Menu highlights include a high tea that comes with an assortment of tasty cakes and scones, and a wine platter that features a bottle of red or white house wine along with various meats, cheeses, and breads. But Café Droog’s real draw is that almost everything is for sale: the light fixtures, the sculptures, the pillows–even some of the furniture.

Café Droog also hosts different events and art exhibitions, which can be found on their website. And with a location close to popular markets like Waterlooplein and Oudemanhuispoort, it’s the perfect place for hungry shoppers to grab a bite to eat.
