More of a ‘take-away’ restaurant and deli, Al Souk transports its diners to a world of warmer Arabic climes with its fragrant flavours and succulent delicacies.
The cuisine here uses choicest natural and fresh ingredients to recreate the finest of Middle-Eastern flavours. The restaurant prides itself on its freshly-made breads like Kubbe, Hummus, and Falafel to a delightful range of kebabs and rice-based dishes as well as the ubiquitous shawarma.
The restaurant is the brainchild of Emily Selman who founded the successful Oriental Products, the house of Arabian sweets. Many of their creations are available as desserts here like Ceregli Pistachio (stuffed rolls), Maamul, Nougat, Apple Fatayer, Burma, and Baclawa.
They also stock a range of frozen meals – Frozen Vine Leaves with Meat, Kebabs, Falafels, Kubbe and Shishbarak (stuffed meatballs).
