Žižkov Television Tower

Built between 1985 and 1992 by Engineering and Industrial Structures Ostrava, Žižkov Television Tower is considered to be one of the main landmarks in the Žižkov district. It is 216 meters high, which makes it the highest tower in the city. Žižkov Television Tower also made an appearance in the famous movie Blade II.

Babies and Observatory

In 2000, a Czech sculptor David Černý enriched the tower by adding 10 giant babies that are climbing the Žižkov Television Tower. There are also three big tubes which are over thirty meters long, 2 elevators, and a sightseeing cabin that is located in the central part of the tower and offers panoramic views of Prague.

The Oblaca Restaurant is located inside the Žižkov Television Tower and offers modern cuisine and spectacular city views.
