All the wines stocked here are grown and cultivated in Austria, except for the odd South African bottle that the owner lets slip through the net. Speaking of the owner, he’s fluent in English and is happy to take you on a journey through the history of wine, particularly on each bottle he stocks.
What to Eat
Though listed as a restaurant Vinothek is far more of a winery and, as such, the food menu is quite sparse. However, the small bites that are on offer are all locally sourced and can be paired perfectly with your wine of choice. Enjoy dining on small platters of cheese, charcuterie and freshly made bread.
