Vienna State Opera

The Vienna State Opera is a world-leading opera house that first opened its doors in 1869. Since then the venue has housed an array of famous singers including Gustav Mahler, Herbert von Karajan and Lorin Maazel.

Performances

This little theatre has an impressive programme as it puts on around 50 to 60 individual opera’s a year making it the busiest opera house in the world. The 200 annual performances are a delight to witness so check online before your visit to see what’s on.

For a VIP experience simply purchase the Mozart VIP Ticket. This includes entrance to the Mozart Opera, a four-course meal at the Opus restaurant at the Hotel Imperial and transport between the two venues. The ticket grants you backstage access to meet one of the performers, and you’ll be given a CD of the orchestra to take away.
