A fine dining restaurant set in the Grand Pump Room which is renowned for celebrating the historic Roman Baths.

Inaugurated by the Duchess of York in 1795, this historic building soon became the centre of social gatherings. With its grand architecture that features imposing Ionic columns, large Roman windows and high ceilings, the Grand Pump Room continues to draw large number of visitors.

This elegant restaurant is as popular for its fine dining experience as for the curative properties of the thermal springs.

Fine Dining Menu

All through the year, the restaurant is open for breakfast and lunch. You can expect to find smoked bacon rolls, poached eggs, pancakes, croissants, buns and scones in the mornings. The lunch menu includes main courses like Baked Plaice, Pan-fried Pork Tenderloin and Cornish Cod Fishcakes.

Their sumptuous Afternoon Tea attracts its own fan following thanks to their interesting package deals like the Beau Nash Cream Tea, Somerset High Tea, Traditional Pump Room Tea and Champagne Tea. Every package includes complimentary refills of tea and coffee.

Of course, one must mention their popular live music band, the Pump Room Trio that adds its unique charm to the dining experience at the Bath.
