The Augustine

Opened in 2009, The Augustine consists of 7 buildings and is located minutes from the Wallenstein Gardens and just a short walk from Prague Castle and Charles Bridge. The hotel offers luxurious accommodations and has a courtyard restaurant that focuses on International cuisine and offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

History

One of the most important buildings in the complex is the Augustinian St. Thomas Monastery that dates back to the 13th century. A few friars are still living in a separate part of the monastery, and there is tour of the private library available for guests.

Rooms and Services

All 101 rooms are individually decorated and have decorative accessories, air conditioning, LCD TV, pillow menu, and a mini bar. Bathrooms are en-suite and come with bathrobes, slippers, and complimentary toiletries, while each room is equipped with free Wi-Fi. The Augustine Restaurant serves delicious meals and brews its own St. Thomas beer. There is also an extensive wine list available at the restaurant.
