Surfer’s Bay Beach Bar

Surfer's Bay is a little caribbean bar tucked away on the South coast of Barbados. It's next to popular surfing and kiteboarding sites, and there's always a great atmosphere in the evenings as the sun sets.

Casual Caribbean Beach Bar

Located on the southern tip of the island in Silver Sands, Surfer’s Bay Beach Bar is a great spot for watching the sunset. It is a typical low key Caribbean bar with a large wooden deck and a grassy seating area. Its rustic charm and casual atmosphere makes it a favourite with tourists, locals and surfers.

Live Music On Sundays

In the high season they have live music every Sunday. From local reggae bands to more famous guitarist such as Martin Harley, this is the place to relax with friends and enjoy lazy evenings in the cool breeze. They serve good pub food such as hamburgers, chicken pie, homemade stew and vegetarian “rotis” (local curried potatoes in a wrap).

A Hidden Gem

Surfer’s Bay is a little tucked away so can be hard to find, but they have signs up along the road to help newcomers find their way. Staff are friendly and laid back, and have perfected the art of a good “rum punch”. They also have popular accommodation on the property called Moonraker Apartments.
