Historic Castle

Sudeley Castle has played its part in the regal life of England for several centuries. It is also where a queen- Katherine Parr, one of King Henry VIII’s wives, is buried.  The Castle stands as a testament to its legacy and is home to mesmerising treasures and antiques, the oldest of which dates back to ancient Roman era.

Gardens, Birds, Adventure and More

The resplendent gardens are famed for their beauty and each garden carries its own unique identity. The Pheasantry at the castle boasts 16 endangered and rare species of birds. The Adventure Playground offers fun activities for the whole family including a wooden fort, a zip line and a challenging assault course.

There are gift shops where visitors can shop for unusual gifts and souvenirs.

The Terrace Café and Sudeley Café offer classic English fare from locally sourced produce.

Sudeley Castle is a place for old and young, as they hold exciting events throughout the year such as Summer Fun.

Private Gatherings

Sudeley Castle’s beautiful vistas are also as a venue for weddings and corporate meetings. The expansive terrace alone can seat about 120 guests, with a superb view of Cotswolds!
