Palazetto Bru Zane

Housed in a 17th century palace, the Palazetto Bru Zane is devoted to preserving the French romantic tradition in chamber music.

French romanticism

The Palazetto Bru Zane is home to the Centre de musique romantique francaise, an organization devoted to preserving the French musical heritage of the 19th century. Onsite concerts include chamber music and large-scale symphonies, all sticking to a chosen theme for the year.

Pleasure palace

Concerts at the Palazetto Bru Zane benefit from an unbelievably romantic setting. The building dates to the 17th century and was completed by Baldassare Longhena, the same architect responsible for the magnificent Ca’ Rezzonico and Ca’ Pesaro. Ornate woodwork, stucco, and frescoes adorn everything from the grand staircase to the original 100-seat concert hall.

Guided tours

Every Thursday afternoon, visitors have the chance to follow a free guided tour of the splendid building. Tours in Italian depart at 2:30pm; tours in French at 3pm; and tours in English at 3:30pm. Attendees get the added perk of access to discounted concert tickets.
