Orlando Repertory Theatre (The REP)

For an audience of families with young children, the REP breathes life onto the stage!

Center Stage

Many productions have been adaptations of storybook themes popular in classical and contemporary children’s literature. Costumes and set designs are of superb quality and craftsmanship. The REP generally schedules performances from the fall to the spring.

Geared to Suit Families

Each of the shows that are performed during the theater’s season is themed for young children. Their shows often promote cultural diversity. Likewise, they bring lessons to the stage about the perspectives and issues of people from different generations.

Embracing the Stage

In 2000, the REP merged with the University of Central Florida’s theatre program and the Civic Theatre of Central Florida. This partnership allows for collaboration among these organizations; in turn, the REP hosts classes, camps, and outreach programs for students. Those pursuing the Master of Fine Arts degree, an exclusive university program, integrate students into performances throughout the season.
