The Mexic-Arte Museum

The Mexic-Arte Museum strives to display traditional and contemporary Mexican, Latino, and Hispanic art and demonstrate the rich cultural contributions of diverse artists.

The Collection

Founded in 1984, the Mexic-Arte Museum is one of the premier regional museums dedicated to Mexican, Latino, and Hispanic art and continues to expand its collections and programming.

The museum’s permanent collection features historical photography dating to the Mexican Revolution, traditional ritual masks, lithographs and serigraphs, and a non-circulating rare book collection.

Emerging Artist Support

The Museum encourages and promotes local and regional contemporary artists through ongoing exhibitions and workshop programs. It elevates the mission of the museum through community-focused events, fostering of emerging artists, and networking with other cultural institutions in the U.S. and Mexico.
