Kotva

Kotva is one of the oldest shopping centers in Prague with 6 floors and many International and local stores. It is located in the very center of the city and is famous for its unique Communist-era architecture.

The Building

This shopping mall consists of a concrete and iron skeleton with 6 units that feature stores, restaurants, and a supermarket in the basement. Kotva was finished in 1975 and houses many large department stores that sell everything from clothes, shoes and sports equipment to jewelry, cutlery, furniture, and perfumes. Kotva is easily reachable for tourists due to its central location on the Republic Square.

 Restaurant and Parking

There is a restaurant on the top floor of the Kotva shopping center that serves International dishes and local specialties. It also offers panoramic views of the city center and has an extensive wine list. Visitors will find an underground parking inside of the building.
