Inspired by the Mediterranean region, De Kas’ fixed-price meals change based on the current harvest. What’s more, its wine list boasts over 40 selections–and on summer days, drinks are served on the scenic patio.The restaurant encourages vegetarian diners to request a special meal from the chef.
The dining room is beneath a clear glass roof, showcasing the natural colors of the Amsterdam sky. For a special (and more expensive) treat, visitors can also book a seat at the chef’s table in the kitchen. Regardless of where you sit, De Kas offers guests the unique opportunity to inspect the vegetables before they appear on their plates.
