Counter Culture

Located in the heart of Clapham, Counter Culture is a small bar with just 15 seats that is famous for its delicious simple snacks. A variety of fresh meats, vegetables, and fish from nearby local markets is served to guests.

The Story of Counter Culture

The crew from the nearby Diary, Manor, and Paradise Garage in Bethnal Green decided to open up a new bar that will eventually turn out to be one of the most popular spots in the neighborhood. Over the last three years, this place has been serving delicious food from neglected ingredients and making its way from a small business to a popular joint where guests often need to reserve a table.

Dishes on the Menu

For starters, make sure to try the salami paste and freshly made potato bread with a cream dip. The homemade crab crackers with silky brown crab dip, wild garlic with smoked octopus, and pork belly are just some of the signature dishes here at Counter Culture. Alfresco dining is available on summer days.
