Philadelphia’s Jazz Capital
Chris’ Jazz Cafe is designed to evoke the crowded jazz clubs of ages past. The cozy, bright interior contains homey tables and a small stage. And with concerts almost every night of the week, Chris’ ensures that all of jazz’s many varieties can be found in Philadelphia.
Music and a Meal
Even Chris’ menu pays tribute to the style of music it promotes. They’ve named all the burgers and sandwiches after jazz greats like Miles Davis and John Coltrane. The menu also features lots of Southern food–New Orleans jambalaya and rabbit confit.
The venue’s website has a calendar where visitors can find upcoming acts and buy tickets. Please note that there’s an additional $10 minimum at all tables–but on the bright side, there are also student discounts for those still in school. Jazz lovers will want to grab a seat at one of Chris’ remarkable shows.
