Situated roughly 200 kilometres from Kuala Lumpur, Cameron Highlands is Malaysia’s largest and most popular mountain resort. Discovered in 1885 by Sir William Cameron, an English surveyor, Cameron Highlands has served as a much vaunted weekend getaway for city folk for nearly a century now.   Comprising several little villages and towns, Cameron Highlands is situated at a balmy 1500 metres above sea level.
