Set in the grand, traditional Tudor House, the Broadway Museum and Art Gallery was formerly known as the Ashmolean Museum Broadway and indeed, you will find paintings and works of art from the original collection.
As the museum’s collections grow and the arrangements are modified, the original architecture remains.
The museum is dedicated to chronicling the history of Broadway and the Cotswolds through its collection of paintings, ceramics and tapestries that date from the 17th century.
The top floor of the museum is set apart for local artists and art training.
The museum also hosts exclusive exhibitions, tours and talks on the second floor. Do refer to their website for more information.
