Ho Chi Minh City

Bitexco Financial Tower

This 68-story skyscraper is the tallest building in Vietnam, and it has an elegant observation deck overlooking Ho Chi Minh City.

Symbol of a Modern Country

For years, Vietnam suffered through the horrific effects of multiple wars. But now the country’s economy is growing swiftly, and there’s no better symbol for Vietnam’s rise to prominence than the Bitexco Financial Tower. Designed by celebrity architect Carlos Zapata, the Bitexco Tower is the tallest building in Vietnam, and is distinguished by its lotus-inspired helipad.

Bird’s Eye View of Ho Chi Minh City

Visitors to Vietnam can see its largest city from above at the Bitexco Tower’s popular observation deck. Tickets to the Saigon Skydeck cost 200,000 dong each–but the view is worth the price. Along with the floor-to-ceiling windows, guests will find a well-stocked gift shop, as well as a small Ao Dai Museum dedicated to Vietnamese women’s fashion.

For those who are willing to spend a bit more money on a cocktail, reservations are always available at the EON51 Eon Heli Bar on the 52nd floor of the building. And at either the Skydeck or the bar, sunset is the best time to visit.
