Belvedere Museum

The Belvedere Museum is one of the cities most visited tourist sites and is home to the greatest collection of Austrian art from the middle ages. History buffs and artists alike will delight at the array of collections inside.


Built in the early 18th century, the museum is housed in one of two great Baroque palaces, both of which are worth a visit. The exhibitions are made up of French impressionist art, Viennese Biedermeier art and the largest collection of Gustav Klimt’s paintings in the world. Visit the staterooms in the Upper Belvedere to see the impressive Belvedere collection.

Ticket Costs

Tickets can be pre-booked online or paid for at the door. Admission into both the Upper and Lower Belvedere is €20 per adult, admission into only the Upper Belvedere is €15 per adult and admission to the Lower Belvedere is €13 per adult
