The Batsford Arboretum is home to a stunning 2850 species of trees and plants from all over the world including Far Eastern species like Japanese Flowering Cherries, UK’s first bamboo collection and Japanese Maples that stun with flowers in spring and bright foliage in autumn.

There is always something breath-taking to see all year long at Batsford. Naturally, spring is the most colourful time of the year with snowdrops, daffodils, magnolias and more.

Fun Events

The Arboretum also hosts popular events such as Photography Competition and Workshops, Big Batsford Bug Hunt, Easter Chicken Hunt and open air theatre productions.
