The story of Balthazar
In 1997, Keith McNally opened the original Balthazar restaurant in New York City. After 16 years, residents of London finally got the chance to witness the opening of Balthazar in their city. The response of the public was amazing, so it’s no wonder that it was quite hard to get a table for weeks after the opening.
Best Dishes and Interior
Some of the signature dishes prepared by Chef Robert Reid include duck shepherd’s pie, onion soup, pavlova, steak tartare, and chicken liver. Their homemade bread from the master baker Jon Rolfe is definitely worth trying. As for the interior, it consists of antique mirrored walls, red leather banquettes, and mosaic floors.
