One of the top attractions at Adventuredome is El Loco, a roller coaster that reaches a peak 90 feet in the air and a speed of 45 miles per hour. Another coaster, Canyon Blaster, has both a double-loop and double-corkscrew, making it the only indoor coaster of its kind in the world. Reaching a speed of 55 miles per hour, Canyon Blaster is not for the faint-hearted. Shoot up the tower of the ride called Sling Shot to experience acceleration at 4 g’s. Disk’O is for riders with stomachs of iron, as this ride spins and rocks as if it were dancing on a disco floor.
Plenty of junior rides are at Adventuredome for smaller visitors. Kids who like planes will want to ride Thunderbirds. Miner Mike is for train lovers, and the Frog Hopper is for those who enjoy bouncing from a moderate height. Rides like the Circus Carousel and Road Runner are good for entire families. In addition to the amusement rides, Adventuredome has 4-D theatres. Some show pop culture icons such as SpongeBob SquarePants.
Check the Hours of Operation calendar found on Adventuredome’s website; hours change throughout the week and with the seasons. Information regarding admission is available here too. Visitors have the option of purchasing an all-day pass which allows for riding as much as one can fit into a single day. There are also pay-per-ride options too.
